A few minute "look" into some of the goings on today.
With appearances by: Baby birds (5 weeks old), baby bunnies (5 weeks old), a mama bunny (Gold Doe)... and just a peek at baby bunnies (5 minutes old), Lily, Geordi
I can't believe I missed this comment! So sorry it's taken me so long to respond.
We're not at tomato-sucker-plucking days yet (though I should probably double check tomorrow afternoon) and yes, the barred rock (dubbed, "Hen Solo") has been our only incubator success so far. Color me frustrated.
We're working on our 3rd batch (that's 120+ eggs) now. We're probably day 15 or so.
I've had very good luck using the J clip wire hutch method. Still get scratched by the wires occasionally but the price is right and (if I have the wire) I can make the hutches I need to size, on demand.

Well more bunnies is a good thing, late Fall I'll be trading Quail for Rabbits i need to get a cage going soon.
